Spring 2023 One day horsemanship Clinics/Lessons

Four lesson spots are offered at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm. You are welcome to ride in two lessons each day (traditional clinic style) or one lesson spot. They are filled on a first come first serve basis. Jessica will work with you at whatever stage in your horsemanship that you are at from very beginner rider to working the flag or reining maneuvers.
Must have a current SHF membership for liability purposes and must sign the annual waiver.
Cost: $110+gst (two lessons per day) or $55+gst (one lesson per day)

2023 Mildred Summer Clinic Series
Location: North of Mildred SK at the Robinson Pastures Clinician: Jessica Wruck Cost: $85+gst for each Fri/Sat. clinic or $60+gst for one lesson. $30 non-refundable deposit required to hold your spot per clinic. 2023 Summer Camps
Little Wruck Riders 2 day Camp Ages 6-10
Maximum of 6 kids, filled on a first come first serve basis No riding experience is required. Must bring own lunch for camp days Cost: $300+gst, $100 non-refundable deposit Camp Date: Aug 24/25, 2023 (Thurs/Fri) About: the course of the lessons, your child will learn the basics of how to control and ride a horse safely such as how to ask a horse to move forward, to stop, to turn, to back up and to increase speed as they are competent. Time: Each camp run 7am-2pm each day due to hot summer weather. Intermediate Wruck Riders Level 1 CampAges 7-12
Maximum of 6-8 kids. Filled on a first come first serve basis Some riding experience required (close to riding on own). Must bring own lunch for camp days Cost: $300+gst, $100-refundable deposit About: The camp activities will consist of technical riding lessons to ensure safety and knowledge, trail riding (if competent enough), gymcana games, and some craft time. Intermediate Wruck Riders Level 2 CampAges 7-12
Maximum of 6-8 kids. Filled on a first come first serve basis Riding experience required. Camp participants must be loping. Can bring own horse. Must bring own lunch for camp days. This camp is geared towards kids that are competent riders at a young age and for the most part can manage on their own. Cost: $375+gst or $345+gst (Own horse), $100-refundable deposit About: The camp activities will consist of trail riding, drill team, gymcana games, technical riding, equine first aid and some craft time. Camp Date: July 11-13, 2023 (Tues-Thurs) Time: Each camp run 7am-2pm each day due to hot summer weather. Experienced Wruck Riders 3 Day CampAges 10-15
Maximum of 12-14 kids, filled on a first come first serve basis. Must bring own lunch each day Riding experience is required. Rider must be able to lope inside arena and outside arena, tack up on own, and understand proper horse care and safety. Cost: $375+gst or $345+gst to bring your own. $100 non-refundable deposit About: The camp activities will consist of trail riding, drill team, gymcana games, technical riding, equine first aid and some craft time. Camp Date: July 18-20, 2023 (Tues-Thurs) Time: Each camp run 7am-2pm each day due to hot summer weather. 4 day Advanced CampAges 12-18
Maximum of 10 kids, filled on a first come first serve basis. Must bring own lunch each day Advanced Riding experience is required. Rider must be able to lope inside arena and outside arena, tack up on own, and understand proper horse care and safety. Experience and independence required with most horse care and handling. Must bring own lunch for camp days Cost: $475+gst or $435+gst to bring your own. $100 non-refundable deposit About: The camp activities will consist of trail riding, drill team, gymcana games, technical riding, equine first aid, sometimes working cattle, potentially an overnight trail ride (Depends on camp participants and ages of kids registered). One Day Intro to Cattle Clinic with Jessica Friday, May 6,2022

This clinic will be a one day clinic for people with young horses that haven't been on cattle or those wishing to learn about working cattle but are new to it.
Will consist of going over technical aspects of riding important for working cattle and will have access to fresh cattle to learn how to track, and position your horse.
Only taking 8-10 riders for this clinic and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
Cost 8 people: $193.75+gst
Cost 10 people: $155+gst
Non-refundable deposit: $50
Clinic will run 9am-4pm
Participants are required to have their own horse insurance, sign a WRC release and wavier and bring their own lunch, water bucket for horse and feed.
We are happy to announce that we will be having Rod Thiessen back this spring. Rod Thiessen brings years of horsemanship, performance and training experience to the table. Rod has more horse stories, adventures and experiences in his lifetime than most of us can imagine. He is passionate about working with horses and assisting people to improve their skills no matter the level they are at. He is top notch trainer here in Saskatchewan and we are pleased to be able to work with him!
His clinic will fill fast and we are only taking 10 riders. We will be sure to let you know if we can do another one.

Cost: 2021 fees were $380 plus gst per clinic per person, but new cattle prices haven't been determined yet so this could change. This doesn't include lunch, so you must bring your own. ** Note: Cost may increase depending on cost of cattle
