2025 Summer Camps
Little Wruck Riders 2 day Camp Ages 6-10
Maximum of 6 kids, filled on a first come first serve basis No riding experience is required. Must bring own lunch for camp days Cost: $315+gst, $100 non-refundable deposit Camp Date: April 25/26, May 18/19 and July 3/4 About: During the course of the lessons, your child will learn the basics of how to control and ride a horse safely such as how to ask a horse to move forward, to stop, to turn, to back up and to increase speed as they are competent. Time: April and May camps run 9am-4pm, Summer camp runs 7am-2pm each day due to hot summer weather. Intermediate Wruck Riders Level 1 CampAges 7-12
Maximum of 6-8 kids. Filled on a first come first serve basis Some riding experience required (close to riding on own). Must bring own lunch for camp days Cost: $315+gst, $100-refundable deposit Camp Dates: July 22/23 and July 31/Aug 1 About: The camp activities will consist of technical riding lessons to ensure safety and knowledge, trail riding (if competent enough), gymcana games, and some craft time. Time: Each camp run 7am-2pm each day due to hot summer weather. Intermediate Wruck Riders Level 2 CampAges 7-12
Maximum of 6-8 kids. Filled on a first come first serve basis Riding experience required. Camp participants must be loping. Can bring own horse. Must bring own lunch for camp days. This camp is geared towards kids that are competent riders at a young age and for the most part can manage on their own. Cost:$410+gst or $370+gst (own horse), $100-refundable deposit About: The camp activities will consist of trail riding, drill team, gymcana games, technical riding, equine first aid and some craft time. Camp Date: July 8-10 Time: Each camp run 7am-2pm each day due to hot summer weather. For all Camps:

Experienced Wruck Riders 3 Day CampAges 10-15
Maximum of 12-14 kids, filled on a first come first serve basis. Must bring own lunch each day Riding experience is required. Rider must be able to lope inside arena and outside arena, tack up on own, and understand proper horse care and safety. Cost: $410+gst or $370+gst to bring your own. $100 non-refundable deposit About: The camp activities will consist of trail riding, drill team, gymcana games, technical riding, equine first aid and some craft time. Camp Date: July 15-17 Time: Each camp run 7am-2pm each day due to hot summer weather. Ladies & Gents 4 Day Spring CampAges 18+ (some exceptions made to older more advanced teens)
Maximum of 10 Adults, filled on a first come first serve basis. Must bring own food except for supper on the 23rd and 24th is provided. Advanced Riding experience is required. Rider must be able to lope inside arena and outside arena, tack up on own, and understand proper horse care and safety. Experience and independence required with most horse care and handling. Cost: $675+gst or $450+gst to bring your own horse $100 non-refundable deposit About: This year the camp will consist primarily of trail riding in different places. The plan is to ride Cranberry Flats down by the South Saskatchewan River the first day, head to the Nesbit Forest the second day and trail ride, eat, overnight there and then head to Mildred Saskatchewan, trail ride, eat and overnight there and head home on the fourth day. We will try to include building a drill team as a lot of ladies enjoyed that last year. Camp Date: May 22-25 Daily times vary depending on daily activity. Registration Form![]()

Personalized Trail Rides
Location: Wruck Riding Centre Cost: $60+gst/person Contact: Jessica Wruck: 306-380-3055 No riding experience necessary, though a small lesson will be given before hand to ensure safety of horse and rider. Must sign a waiver, spots are filled on a first come first serve basis. Text Jessica to see if there is time and space available. If there is a time and date can be arranged personally. |

Winter Intro to Cattle Clinics

If weather is too cold (-18 or colder before the wind chill), then clinics will be re-scheduled to the listed back up dates.
Location: Wruck Riding Centre; Saskatoon, SK
Clinician: Jessica Wruck
The clinic will consist of dry work (flag, positioning and horse suppleness exercises) and working cattle out of a small group in the morning (2 hours) and then a shorter (1 hour) afternoon session of working a cow one on one.
Maximum number of participants per clinic: 8
Cost:$215.25 (gst included) or $262.50 (gst included) using a WRC horse (if suitable an available)
Deposit: $100/clinic. Balance due on clinic date. Etransfer to wrc@sasktel.net
Cancellation Policy: Deposit is only returned to you if I am able to find another person to replace your spot in the clinic. If you cancel less than one week prior to the clinic, your will be required to pay the full clinic fee.
Must provide your own lunch;
Horses may be tied to your trailer and feeding them hay there is fine; however please clean up your hay and poop on the ground before leaving and put in the manure pile. Water is available at a hydrant to the south of the arena; but you must provide your own bucket.
All participants must have a valid 2025 SHF membership for insurance purposes and will be required to sign a waiver.
